WMP 2006

Exciting news! Due to the tremendous success of the summer mission projects over the past 16 years, a winter mission trip for college students and recent college graduates has been scheduled.

Participants will depart on Sunday, January 1 from Dulles Airport and return on Saturday, January 7.

The annual holiday bake sale (December 18) will be the primary fundraiser for this trip. All participants will be expected to provide home-baked items to sell and staff the bake sale table, as well.

We will be coordinating accommodations, meals and contruction work with East Cooper Habitat for Humanity in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina (SMP 2004).

Plans for a January 2007 trip are also currently being discussed to an international destination - stay tuned!

Leave your deposit checks (made payable to Lewinsville Presbyterian Church) in the SMP box in the volunteer room at church, or mail them to Linda Bender at: 10300 Bushman Drive, 302, Oakton, VA 22124. Don't forget - they must be received by September 25 in order for your registration to be confirmed.
